Godmanchester Morning

Today I was back at Godmanchester Nature Reserve for the usual morning with Spring Common Academy.  However, I arrived early so I could enjoy the sights of the reserve and sneak up on some wildlife without a large group of people to scare it away.  I’m very pleased with what I got – have a look!

Once everyone else had arrived, we set about the task at hand.  Today we were having a fun day making a willow spider and web to celebrate Halloween.  We’re very proud of what we accomplished.

Meet Wally The Willow Spider, enjoying his large web.DSC00209_800x600DSC00208_800x600DSC00210_800x600

I hope you enjoyed today’s post and hopefully I’ll be back with some more wild posts soon!

It was a lovely calm morning – photos beautifully capture that. I didn’t notice the effect of the different willows at the time but isn’t Wally well striped!
