Godmanchester in June

Couldn’t get any closer as its in a conservation area but from here it looked like an orchid, possibly pyramidal but at this distance I wouldn’t like to say for certain!

    A beautiful collection of photos. It’s been an odd sort of spring and early summer with windy cold spells followed by blistering heat . So it’s good to have a record of the all too brief blossom. Amazing how resilient the wildlife is.
