Welney 2017

WWT Welney will always hold a special place in my heart, particularly at this time of year.  So last Saturday we headed over to the reserve, taking one of dear friends with us, to enjoy and afternoon stroll, some delightful birds, and an interesting swan feed.  We hope to make this a pre-Christmas tradition each year!

The weather was definitely not as nice as last time we went and as the afternoon wore on the fog closed in, making pictures of birds much harder to get.  Today I wanted to share some photos of our visit with you and take the opportunity to wish you a pleasant Christmas.  There will be post on here next week (its already scheduled and everything!) so look out for that if you have a chance, if not, I’ll see you in the New Year!
