Cold Somersham

The sun was shining.  The sky was clear and blue.  It didn’t look too cold.  So I decided to wrap up and head for a brief walk this morning around the Somersham Lake!

The ducks were hungry but I’d forgotten to bring them any food, and there were plenty of other animals out and about from the nervous squirrel to the bemused pigeon to the feeding buzzard.  There was even an exciting looking creepy-crawlie (probably a ichneumon wasp, but this is still being confirmed!).  I love visiting my local area, I find it particularly inviting over the winter months, there’s always something to see!
