A Railway Through Nature

Today we spent the day on and around the Llangollen Railway.  As it was their diesel gala weekend we had plenty of different trains to travel on and we went up and down the line a number of times.  We stopped at all of the stations, even if just briefly.  The stations were: Llangollen, Berwyn, Glyndyfrdwy, Carrog and Corwen East.  If you are interested in trains, then please visit my page dedicated to railways!  This post is more about the scenery, flora and fauna around the railway!

There were plenty of things to see and I’ve decided that rather than explain it all, I’m just going to leave you with a gallery of photos to enjoy!

How It Made Me Feel

Its amazing how so much of nature can thrive around a railway.  I can understand why people don’t always like them, but if managed in the right way, I think that railways and nature can thrive together and many heritage lines manage this perfectly and are normally set in stunning locations, particularly the Llangollen Railway!
